JJ Reddick's time to shine

All you JJ Reddick fans will be excited at the news--JJ has signed a sponsor contract!

Orlando, FL --

 JJ Reddick, former star-guard for the NCAA Duke University basketball team and future rookie for the NBA Orlando Magic, has agreed in principle to a sponsorship contract with Budweiser to endorse a new line of beer products targeting athletes, college students and late-teenagers.  While the terms of the contract have not been finalized, rumors of a contract "ranging between 65-70 million dollars" have not been denied by either Budweiser or Sofia Vanheusen, JJ Reddick's agent.

"Red is totally 4tw lol," Reddick's agent Vanheusen told NBALeeks via email, "he[']s the best shoooter. evar. and i got him the best contract. vear rofl!!  red isn't scarred to be controversy and let[']s admit it every1 likes a good beer :):):)"(sic)

Budweiser's Executive Executor of External Exchanges, Don Glassman, told us "JJ Reddick is *phenomenal*.  Absolutely.  He's not afraid to promote a wonderful product that he likes.  A lot of people are adverse to the idea of endorsing alcohol, but then they go home and get hammered the same day, right?  Reddick is grabbing a hold of this hypocritical standpoint, and doing a full u-turn.  Other athletes do expensive shoes that no one can afford.  We're doing an affordable sports-beer that everyone can afford!  If that's not admirable, I don't know what is!"

The drinks, to be titled "RedDick Energy Beer", will be a fusion of beer and energy drinks.  They are slated for a December release the week before Christmas.  A limited edition drink will also be released called "RedDick's Nog Mix."  All drinks will have an 11% alcoholic content.
